Counting the Cost of Carbon for Genesys

This carbon calculator was created for Genesys Conferencing to help their sales people to compare the 'cost' of telephone conference calling vs. meeting in person. Originally a process that took 2 days for an analyst to calculate, Tangent 90 built the model based on the available literature to allow companies to communicate a complex message in a really simple and engaging way. Tangent 90 then designed the interface in flash with an external database of locations and over 25 variables. In doing so Tangent 90 proved itself as a Digital Agency that delivers real savings and ROI.

To operate the Carbon Calculator the user simply has to Select the Moderator/Chairperson city location from the Chairperson tab and click on 'Submit' and then Select the location and number of participants who will join the meeting and click 'Submit'. The tool then displays the cost of business travel in C02 emissions as well as the dollar, euro or pound cost to the company's travel budget. The 'savings' will automatically be displayed on the right hand side of the cost calculator. Each user can choose their own currency by clicking on the appropriate currency tab.
